Start with verified Trade Assurance suppliers. Filter for Gold Supplier status and at least 2 years on platform. MOQs typically run 200–500 units for standard products — negotiate down for your first run by accepting a slightly higher unit cost.

Order 3–5 samples from different suppliers before committing. Test quality, packaging integrity, real dimensions, and how it arrives on your doorstep. The gap between the product photo and the physical unit tells you everything.
Plan for Lead Times
Build in 30–60 days production plus 20–40 days sea freight to port. Air freight costs 6–8× more — plan your cash flow around ocean shipments from day one so you're never forced into air to avoid a stockout.
